Delhi ended their losing streak in this fixture by beating Bangalore by four wickets when they last met, after Kagiso Rabada claimed 4-21 with the ball and Shreyas Iyer's 67 led the chase of 150 to win.

DC Team News

Though Sandeep Lamichhane featured in the last home game and took three wickets, South African all-rounder Chris Morris was back last time out for the win against Rajasthan. Those two, alongside Sherfane Rutherford, appear to be competing for two spots.

DC Key Players

Kagiso Rabada claimed one of his two four-wicket hauls so far this season when these teams last met and the South African paceman has been in stunning bowling form. Rabada has 23 wickets in 11 games so far and sits comfortably top of the bowling charts.

Chris Morris is next on the list for Delhi, after returning to the team with a wicket last time out. He now has 12 in eight matches, while Sandeep Lamichhane – who has also been in and out of this team – has eight from five.

After back-to-back half-centuries, Shikhar Dhawan remains their top run scorer – he now has 401 from 11 matches, including four half-centuries in total.

Rishabh Pant’s top score of 78 from 36 balls last time out move him back to second in their batting charts, meanwhile. His 336 runs have come at a strike rate of 163.10 too.

Shreyas Iyer has 331 runs, including two half-centuries, and Prithvi Shaw has shown good form at the top of the order too, including 42 as a useful partner to both Dhawan and Shaw last time out.

DC Team Form

Delhi’s run of three straight wins was ended by Mumbai Indians but they have climbed back to second in the table of IPL 2019 by beating Kings XI Punjab and Rajasthan Royals.

Against the former, Sandeep Lamichhane claimed 3-40 and Kagiso Rabada 2-23 as they restricted them to 163/7, before Shreyas Iyer and Shikhar Dhawan scored half-centuries in a successful chase. Then, needing 192 to beat Rajasthan, another Dhawan half-century and 78 not out from 36 balls from Rishabh Pant led them to a six-wicket win with four balls to spare.

RCB Team News

Moeen Ali has left to join up with the England squad for their pre-World Cup ODI series with Pakistan, which will force Royal Challengers Bangalore into at least one change. Shimron Hetmyer, Colin de Grandhomme and Heinrich Klaasen are among the contenders to replace him. Dale Steyn is unavailable too due to his shoulder injury and so Tim Southee, who replaced him last time out, will continue in his place.

RCB Key Players

AB de Villiers scored his fifth half-century of the tournament last time out, eventually finishing unbeaten on 82 from 44 balls – including seven sixes – to move past Virat Kohli and on to 414 runs in ten innings so far.

Kohli is just behind, having also reached 400 runs for the season last time out, and the two being back to their best form has been a key part of RCB’s resurgence.

Parthiv Patel has weighed in with 326 runs, meanwhile, and Marcus Stoinis’ unbeaten 46 from 34 balls was his highest score of the season and a reminder of the form he showed in the Big Bash League.

With the ball, Umesh Yadav claimed 3-36 last time out to move to seven wickets for the tournament. Yuzvendra Chahal remains their leading wicket-taker, however, with 14 from 11 games.

RCB now need Tim Southee to step up, with Dale Steyn out injured for the rest of the tournament – the New Zealand paceman, alongside Stoinis, needs more wickets.

RCB Team Form

Royal Challengers Bangalore have recovered well from losing their first six matches in a row and they have now won their last three to move to four wins in total for the season.

Virat Kohli’s century from 58 balls, in a total of 213/4, kicked off the current winning streak as they posted 213/4 against Kolkata Knight Riders and held on to win by ten runs.

Next, they faced Chennai Super Kings and won a thriller by one run – defending 161/7 after Parthiv Patel’s 53 from 37 balls.

Last time out, AB de Villiers was the star man with an unbeaten 82 from 44 balls against Kings XI Punjab. That helped RCB to 202/4 and a 17-run win.
