Kolkata are looking to end a run of six straight defeats, which has left them on the brink of missing the play-offs despite winning four of their first five games. Mumbai got back to winning ways last time out - their seventh win in 11 matches so far - which left them two points behind the league leaders. This will be the first meeting between these teams this year. Mumbai have won all five previous matches over the past two seasons.

Last time Mumbai won the toss, they elected to bat first – they usually field first, however, as do Kolkata.

KKR Team News
Joe Denly's unavailability is unlikely to hit Kolkata too hard - the English batsman faced one ball in the tournament. Kolkata's search for a first win saw Carlos Brathwaite recalled in place of Harry Gurney last time out, while Prasidh Krishna replaced KC Cariappa.
KKR Key Players
Andre Russell remains Kolkata's top run scorer with 406 runs from ten innings so far - his explosive innings have been a highlight of the tournament so far and he still has a strike rate of 209.27.
Like Russell, Nitish Rana and Chris Lynn have both hit three half-centuries too. Rana has 318 runs in ten innings, while Lynn has 264 from ten.
Dinesh Karthik was back to his best last time out, meanwhile, smashing an unbeaten 97 from 50 balls. Karthik passed 50 for the second time in IPL 2019, hitting seven fours and nine sixes.
Russell also has eight wickets, as does fellow West Indian Sunil Narine. Piyush Chawla is now their leading wicket-taker, however, with nine from 11 matches.
KKR Team Form
Kolkata won four of their first five matches but have since lost six in a row. The bad form continued against Sunrisers Hyderabad, when they posted a well below par 159/8 on their way to a nine-wicket defeat - Sunrisers getting home with five overs to spare.
Last time out, meanwhile, there was no respite. Dinesh Karthik hit an unbeaten 97 from 50 balls in a total of 175/6. Piyush Chawla then claimed 3-20 in reply, but the Royals won by three wickets with four balls remaining.
Kolkata Knight Riders Predicted Playing 11
Chris Lynn, Sunil Narine, Shubman Gill, Nitish Rana, Dinesh Karthik (c, wk), Rinku Singh, Andre Russell, Carlos Brathwaite, Piyush Chawla, Prithvi Raj, Prasidh Krishna

MI Team News
Mayank Markande and Ben Cutting made way last time out, with Evin Lewis making his first appearance of the season and Anukul Roy making his IPL debut. Both played their part in Mumbai's big win against Chennai Super Kings and could retain their places to face Kolkata.
MI Key Players
Lasith Malinga claimed 4-37 in the big win against Chennai last time out to move to 12 wickets in seven appearances so far. It was the Sri Lankan slinger's second four-wicket haul.
Malinga has picked up wickets but has been expensive, but that has made a perfect foil for Jasprit Bumrah. The Indian paceman has 13 wickets and an economy rate of 6.19 after he claimed 2-10 in three overs against Chennai. Krunal Pandya took 2-7 from his three overs, meanwhile.
With the bat, Rohit Sharma led the way last time out, with his first half-century of the tournament. Fellow opener Quinton de Kock remains their top run scorer with 393 in 11 innings, however – including three half-centuries.
Hardik Pandya has contributed plenty of lower-order runs, meanwhile. He has hit 264 runs in 11 innings with a strike rate of 182.06.
MI Team Form
Mumbai got back to winning ways last time out by beating Chennai Super Kings in convincing fashion. Rohit Sharma hit 67 in a total of 155/4 but it was the bowlers who really impressed. Lasith Malinga claimed 4-37, while Krunal Pandya (2-7) and Jasprit Bumrah (2-10) were also in good form as the Super Kings were dismissed for just 109.
It put the five-wicket defeat to Rajasthan, when Mumbai failed to defend 161/5 firmly behind them, and got them back to the sort of form that saw them beat Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals in back-to-back games.
Mumbai Indians Predicted Playing 11
Quinton de Kock (wk), Rohit Sharma (c), Evin Lewis, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya, Kieron Pollard, Lasith Malinga, Jasprit Bumrah, Anukul Roy, Rahul Chahar
