Islamabad United play their first ‘home’ match of the 2020 Pakistan Super League at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, when they take on Quetta Gladiators in a repeat of the opening fixture of this year’s tournament. The match takes place on February 27 and the live action gets underway at 19:00 local time.

Quetta Gladiators won that first meeting of the season, starting their title defence in good form as Mohammad Hasnain took 4-25 and Azam Khan led the chase of 169 to win with 59 from 33 balls. Sarfaraz Ahmed is up the order and in good form behind the stumps too as a third options. Two of those three would make for a good balance.

Batsmen

Jason Roy and Dawid Malan have both showed flashes of their best form already in this competition, and both will want to outdo the other knowing there are England places still be sorted for the T20 World Cup. Colin Munro hit a half-century for Islamabad United in the second game meanwhile and is well-regarded in T20 cricket too.
